I am Mark’s friend so I listened to support him but I’m falling in love with Enbani after just a few episodes. Was not expecting to find love through a podcast ...
Music to my ears. Great chemistry, awesome production value, and unassailable premise. Thanks for introducing me to so many new tunes. Plus these guys have real deep-dive convos about the evolution of music that extend from the personal to the international. This podcast is a new must-listen and you should check it out (even if one host and the producer have tragically Canadian sensibilities).
A fun and informative listen. Solid banter, deep music knowledge and passion. Host Enbani sounds like he’s hot and has long eyelashes but maybe a small butt
I have discovered so many cool songs from this podcast and I’ve learned so much about the songs I already knew! I love hearing them discuss everything from music history and culture to high school parties and where to dance in BK. Enbani is an incredible host! Def must listen
Great concept. Smart and engaging hosts. High quality production. I have learned so much from listening to Enbani and Mark share their love of music and music history in the first three episodes. To misuse (probably) Enbani’s favourite phrase, this podcast slaps! And thank you, Mark, for the more-than-occasional Canadian content. Really cool that you can go to Spotify and listen to the complete playlists as well. This podcast is reinvigorating my dormant love of music. Five stars.
In depth chats about music, society and counter-culture with an upbeat vibe. These two know their stuff and take you along for the ride. A must listen for music lovers!
Great podcast, really high production quality and insightful analysis. My only complaint is the host “Mark” seems kind of like an out of touch weirdo who still uses a flip phone, but hey, one out of two ain’t bad.
I knew of Kanye West before Watch the Throne - a low bar, surely, but one that qualified me as a music head in college. A decade later and the soundtrack of my life is the Discover Weekly Playlist on Spotify. How did a robot take over my backing track y’all? more
