元々神社は共有財産として管理されてきた歴史があります。
自然の力や神様の力を感じられる場にお社が出来、祭りなどによって共同体が形成されてきました。
祭りに関しては、老若男女それぞれに役割があったことも重要な要素だったと考えられます。ウェルビーイングを構成する要素として「安心、承認、役割、つながり」の4つが代表的に挙げられますが、祭りや地域活動など、神社が中心となる新たなコミュニティはこれらの要素を網羅できるポテンシャルを秘めているかもしれません。
