昨日は2月の下弦の月でしたね。布薩瞑想として、華厳経入法界品の善知識様の瞑想をいたしましょう。
勝熱婆羅門は燃え盛る剣の山の上にいるバラモン教の僧侶です。善財童子に燃え盛る山の上から身を投げるように命じ、最初驚いた善財童子ですが梵天や他の神々にも勧められて、勝熱婆羅門の真意を知り喜んで山から飛び降ります。
その途端、「善住」「寂静楽」という二つの覚りの境地を得たのでした。

第35番目の善知識・寂静音海主夜神じゃくじょうおんかいしゅやじん（難勝地・なんしょうじ）から4人の主夜神様は、なぜか男神の姿で描かれますが、今回の主夜神様は前回の女神様の前世でのお母様にあたります。生き物たちの四苦八苦の苦しみを十波羅蜜の力で取り除いてくださります。その覚りの境地は「念々に広大な歓喜で飾られる」という境地であり、それらの喜びが彼女の静かな音の海を作っているのかもしれません。
