神々によって差し出された蓮の上を歩く若々しい僧侶の善見比丘は、様々な如来のもとで禁欲の修行を何年も何百年も何億年も積み重ねた善知識様です。彼が一念すると、世界の有り様や衆生のおこないに通じる門が開かれ、仏国土は現前し、菩薩の修行の海が広がり、あらゆる瞑想の海が広がるのです。
これら善見比丘様のお覚りを、布薩の瞑想で追体験いたしましょう。

四正勤とは「①まだ生まれていない悪を生まない②すでに生まれた悪は断ち切る③まだ生まれてない善を生み出す④すでに生まれた善を育てる」という四つの修行です。ある意味、とても当たり前のことで、つまらない教えにも見えてしまいますが、「仏教における悪とは何か」を明確にすることで、実践的な奥深い修行ということに気づくのです。
第37番目の善知識・開敷一切樹花主夜神かいふいっさいじゅけしゅやじん（遠行地・おんぎょうじ）は、ビルシャナ世尊（光輝くお釈迦様）とともに菩提樹の元に来られている主夜神様です。
彼女は夜の訪れと共に生き物たちを眠らせ、また夜の暗闇の中で沸き起こる悪い気持ちをたしなめ、菩薩の十波羅蜜の修行によって、正しき方向へと導いてくださいます。
彼女は「広大な喜びを生み出す歓喜の光明」という覚りを得ておられます。この喜びの光によって、仏様の福徳を生きとし生けるものたちへと取り次いでくださるのです。
