今回はジャータカ物語から、
「甲虫になった王妃」
という少し不思議で、どこか切ないお話をご紹介します。
愛する王妃を失い、深い悲しみに沈む王。
「もう一度会いたい」
その願いによって、王は生まれ変わった王妃と再会します。
しかし、そこで王が見たものは、あまりにも予想外の姿でした。
仏教では、「すべては移り変わっていく」と説かれます。
愛情も、悲しみも、関係も、そして私たち自身も。
だからこそ、今ここにいる誰かとの時間は、かけがえのないものなのかもしれません。

今回のエピソードでは、長年連れ添った猫との別れを経験された方との出会いを通して、「喪失」と向き合う心について考えていきます。
