  • Only men

If you’re a woman this is not for you. All episodes so far are only interviews with men.

I never should have subscribed after seeing how he put his own face as the largest element in the show’s logo. His introductory 1 minute episode has to tell us that the shows he produced/produces are “worth watching”. Both indicate his obsession on how he is perceived.

  • Conversations Like No Other

I love tuning in to this podcast to hear interviews from familiar and not people. This most recent episode with PFT was excellent, I have followed him for a long time and learned so much about his thought process that gives me so much respect for him.

P.S., I really appreciate the episode’s addendum. It’s all about growth!

    Eagerly awaiting more.

  • Completely unique

The conversations are so open and welcoming. I often find that content relating to religion and spirituality can slide into debate rather than discussion but not here. Scott is a great host and asks questions and presents ideas in genuine curiosity. Great explorations of faith in these episodes.

  • Powerful

I so appreciated the Jelani Cobb episode for its warmth and depth about Mr. Cobb’s upbringing in the Catholic church, the positive impact of being the child of a 50 year old dad, his racial awakening especially as related to the church, renaming himself, and the succor he found in reading James Baldwin and attending Howard U. His writing advice alone was worth listening to the whole podcast. But nothing was more poignant than his discussion of his mom and giving her his college diploma.
