  • Impartiality at its best

This show is well worth anyone’s time who is interested in learning about current events as well as values based life lessons and fundamentals of thinking. Very few podcasts can you listen to regularly because they are just not good enough but Yaron constantly challenges you to think and reflect and consider how the world works philosophically. A must listen.

  • The libertarians of life extension

Libertarians believe that they are defenders of liberty, simply by virtue of asserting their support for capitalism on a narrowly political level—even as they repudiate the entire philosophical foundation on which true freedom depends. Similarly, the Objectivist movement has spent 4 decades systematically evading the application of survival as the standard in ethics to aging and life extension. Now ARI intellectuals, with Yaron’s endorsement, have formally rejected egoism applied to aging—all wh... more

  • Excellent podcast

The Yaron Brook show is an excellent substitute to your general sources of knowledge. All in one you can find interest in Economics, principles in philosophy and a lot of common sense. If you don’t enjoy thinking to the extent that your life is important to you... then this show is not for you.

  • Fraud

Yaron is not an egoist, and his movement is a cargo cult.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

In the mind of Curtis Yarvin | Yaron & Nikos Dialogues
Q: Does Yarvin's story provide a useful lesson for growing influence of objectivism?
Yes, in that Yarvin demonstrates how charisma, timing, and environment (like Silicon Valley) can amplify ideas even when the underlying philosophy is controversial; the takeaway is that effective communication and aligning with a receptive audience can matter as much as the ideas themselves.
Iran Latest; Cuba; Economy; CIA/Gold; Drones; Ukraine; Israel/UN; Achievements | Yaron Brook Show
Q: Paul, is NASA cooperating with other countries for its moon landing, or is that against the bi-American principle?
The host suggests cooperation may be part of a broader strategy and is not ruled out, though it's framed as a competitive, potentially bipartite effort rather than exclusive national project.
Slush Fund; Harvard Grades: Ebola; Woke Dead?; Water & Data Centers; Massie/MAGA | Yaron Brook Show
Q: What is Harvard's new grading policy and what are its implications?
Harvard is capping A grades at 20% in undergraduate courses, with allowances for A- in some small classes; proponents argue it will curb grade inflation, while opponents say it undermines merit and academic standards. The host argues that professors will be forced to churn out A minuses and that the policy leaves the door open for administrators to shoulder the responsibility.
Capitulation Again?; Russia/Ukraine; Griffin vs Mamdani; Elections; Ted Turner | Yaron Brook Show
Q: Should Orwell be sanctioned to combat Mamdani, or should alternative authors be used?
The host supports reading Orwell but argues against using him to counter Mamdani, recommending literature that presents clear capitalist or anti-authoritarian ideas instead of aligning with a socialist author.
Capitulation Again?; Russia/Ukraine; Griffin vs Mamdani; Elections; Ted Turner | Yaron Brook Show
Q: Are Democrats better for big tech in California, or are Republicans?
The host argues it depends on context, suggesting neither party is uniformly better, and notes that both parties are influenced by tech interests; the modern AI and data-center landscape complicates this.
