領受神的話語有許多方式，巽光牧師指出有四種最主要的方式。此篇信息中，介紹了其中一種方式——聽覺系。神透過文字、詞彙或句子來對他們說話，向他們顯現。例如：撒母耳小時候，晚上連續三次聽到聲音叫他。
●聽覺系的操練方式
第一，把你所聽到的記下來。
第二，將記下來的領受做成小卡。因為神說：「有的還要加給他，沒有的連他所有的都奪去。」，所以要好好管理所領受的先知性話語，反覆讀、用它們禱告。

信心是從聽見神的聲音而來的，無法透過努力產生，只能安靜領受，
但宗教讓我們覺得信心是關乎我們有沒有努力、有沒有付上代價。
信心只會透過一個特定的過程臨到，就是聽見神的聲音，
你只是安靜，站在領受的位置，打開耳朵、調好頻率。
只要我們聽見神的聲音，我們就會相信，
我們只要聽見神對我們說一句話，我們的生命就會改變了，
這就是神生命的大能。
所以要有信心，你必須先成為一個領受者。
