曾經有生態學家嘅研究發現，雀鳥確實懂擇木而棲。上一集《大自然之聲》「大埔滘自然護理區特輯」帶大家走入大埔滘自然護理區認識不同雀鳥，而今集將會認識雀鳥以及其他生物嘅「家」！ 大埔滘自然護理區原本稱為大埔滘植林區，呢個自然護理區面積達到四百六十公頃，而政府喺1977年將呢度劃為特別地區，亦係香港首個特別地區。堪稱全港最成熟嘅次生林大埔滘郊野公園裏面，有由幾十年前開始種植嘅人工林，區內樹木有成一百幾十種咁多，唔單止有上世紀二十年代開始種植嘅松樹、白千層、紅膠木，仲混雜左唔少本地樹木，例如樟樹、榕...... more
每次走入山林，都係不一樣嘅體驗，途中會遇到嘅雀鳥或動植物，都係緣份。 大埔滘自然護理區位於大埔墟及香港中文大學之間，政府喺1977年將大埔滘460公頃嘅土地劃為特別地區，亦係香港首個特別地區。有別於郊野公園，特別地區以保護自然生態為主，相對少康樂設施。大埔滘自然護理區作為香港其中一個最成熟嘅次生林，由於受到較少人為干擾及發展威脅，加上護理區內多樣嘅生境，吸引咗唔同品種嘅鳥類喺呢度和平共處。從大埔滘至城門、大帽山之間嘅山區，形成一條受保護嘅生態走廊，更加錄得超過160種雀鳥，呢度可以話係觀賞林鳥.... more
