Q: How convinced are you that there is an afterlife and that our consciousness is more than our brain?
I am 100% convinced there is beingness and awareness; this wasn't about the physical body but rather consciousness.
What He Learned From Dying with Jonathan Van Valin Episode 156
Q: What are the differences that you've experienced with a shared death experience and a near death experience?
They felt equally real, but I saw the threshold not for me but as if I was welcoming someone else through it, which was a different experience.
What He Learned From Dying with Jonathan Van Valin Episode 156
Q: What did you think? Did you think there was an afterlife or anything like that? Did you not even think about it? Or you atheist, religious?
I went through a few phases; I certainly went through a very atheist phase. I rejected conventional religion and could not wrap my head around it.

Berman explains that the pandemic allowed her to stay at home, grappling with grief without having to go out or engage with the outside world.
