WSKRS: We Share Knowledge Regarding seaQuest

Grant and Alaina

Alaina and Grant take a journey through the wondrous depths of 1993's seaQuest DSV. Meeting at the intersection of childhood nostalgia and the pressures on production, we fit a bygone era of tv sci-fi into history and our hearts. Yes, this is about the show with the talking dolphin.

  • WSKRS is a great companion to watching SeaQuest!

I am rewatching SeaQuest for the first time in many years and this podcast has been the perfect companion for my return to the deep! I also realized that I apparently either never watched past season 1 or I erased those memories from my brain because I completely forgot most of it and it’s been a wild time! I look forward to listening to your podcast after every episode! Thank you so much for sharing with us! PS: Although O’Neill is my favorite character, I would happily join the Krieg Gang!... more

  • It is like Alaina is in my brain.

I just discovered this podcast recently while doing my annual seaQuest rewatch(yes Alaina there are more of us out there.) There are so many rewatch podcasts I got curious wondering why no one had done one regarding this masterpiece of a show 😂. Lo and behold I had been missing it this whole time! Now I am binging this podcast. Alaina while I am a little older (I was 12 when show first aired) I too had your same opinions. I came for Lucas but stayed for Ortiz. I love hearing that your reactions... more

  • I tried but

The over-exaggerated laughing at each other during the entirety of every episode unfortunately was like nails on a chalkboard and I just couldn’t make it through. I get that it’s a comedy re-watch pod but the end result is un-listenable.

  • I think we just got that miracle

As a seaQuest girlie from back in the day, I’ve been known to rewatch the series from time to time. Last year when my sister and I were watching a couple of episodes, I looked to see if there were any seaQuest audiobooks. There were not, but there was one light in the depths of the ocean: WSKRS. Listening to Grant and Alaina recounting the episodes (and indeed sharing knowledge regarding them) is like hanging out with friends and reminiscing about the show. I look forward to every new episode, a... more
