Having started climbing in the 70s and having met so many of the climbers interviewed in this podcast, it’s interesting to hear the detailed backstory that Kris brings to light. His research is thorough and I love his questions and approach to the interviews. Kris, I hope you eventually get around to the 70”s!
Gripping climbing stories with masterful storytelling and top-tier production quality.
While season two is still in the early days, I feel confident in saying it is going to live up to season one, if not exceed its very high standard. The story side is always told in an engaging and amusing manner but for me it is the follow up interviews which make the show. I love listening to either people involved or those who just LOVE the person it Is profiling (looking at you Mr Cossey; never change!!)

I don’t think I can articulate how good this show is. Chris is actually doing the work of excavating the history of the sport along with its foundational stories and personalities. So much better than just another training podcast or interviews with comp kids, which is most of what the other climbing podcasts seem to be. This one is a jewel.
