  • Don’t bother.

Click bait titles with zero actual content. Casual conversations with Christian artists talking about projects they are working on.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Lead Worship Without a Mic w/ Brandon Coker
Q: What advice would you give to a musician who feels overlooked but believes they have more to offer?
Find somebody in your church to mentor you, present your ideas, and actively seek opportunities to contribute—don't wait for someone to spotlight you. Most churches want invested, proactive people who can help build and serve the ministry.
Lead Worship Without a Mic w/ Brandon Coker
Q: How did your early experiences in ministry influence your songwriting and your view of the church's role?
My early experiences showed me that the church is the primary training ground. The coaching I received from seasoned worship leaders helped me focus on lyrics and message rather than just drums, and I began to see songwriting as a way to communicate timeless truths that fit into worship sets.
Lead Worship Without a Mic w/ Brandon Coker
Q: Brandon, what was it like to lead a song you helped write without a microphone or a title, and how did that shape your approach to leadership?
It taught me to value preparation and the role of the local church in sustaining a song beyond a moment. I learned that a song can take on a life of its own when the church body engages with it, and leadership becomes about serving the team and the congregation, not grabbing the spotlight.
When Obedience Feels Like Losing Everything w/ Brooke Nicholls
Q: How do you balance devotion and demanding leadership responsibilities?
Protect personal worship time, create clear boundaries between work and home, and schedule days dedicated to alone time with God to ground your heart.
When Obedience Feels Like Losing Everything w/ Brooke Nicholls
Q: When you first started leading worship, what advice would you give to your younger self?
Find trusted mentors, don't overthink decisions, and remember to show up as you; let God do the work in people's hearts rather than trying to manufacture moments.
