This podcast, being about work, is, by its very nature, about violence- to the spirit as well as to the body. It's also a complete rip-off of Studs Terkel's 1974 bestseller, "Working: People Talk About What They Do All Day and How They Feel About What They Do." Join comedian (and butcher) Michael Timlin, in his attempt to find out how other artists balance what they want to do, with what they have... more

Great Interviews. Fascinating hearing people talk about their jobs and dreams. A+
great pod from a great boy. voice like butter melting atop a pile of flapjacks.
That spicy funny boy magic. I love it so much. Listen to em all.
Enjoyed and appreciated the Fleisher’s conversation but also found it strange to claim you’re engaging in an accountability exercise while neglecting to name the name of “the billionaire” investor who ran the company into the ground. His name is Rob Rosania.
I’ve heard it said that you can judge people by how they treat employees in service industries and I imagine then that an endeavor dedicated to collecting the stories of said employees could give us valuable insight into society as a whole. That’s what Timlin is doing here. The Good Work. Observant, vital stuff. It also helps that he’s really funny.
Great to hear interesting people,,and the concept of work . Look forward to many more.
This show makes me feel much better about the fact that I’ve basically been chained to my work PC in the tiny, spare bedroom that’s been converted into an office for over a year. Working from home has been challenging, but it’s nice to hear stories that bring both a feeling of solidarity and a smile to your face.
