Ok to listen to but be careful and be aware of some of the things they say-not 100% Biblical
When I started attending an Anglican Church I aggressively looked for podcasts to help me “get my mind around it”. My theology was formed by Baptist/Baptistic churches. Not only is the Podcast itself foundation, but I found St. Paul’s House of Formation through, which I also strongly recommend.
I was raised Southern Baptist, so really never heard any of this. This is the best podcast I’ve ever listened to and I hope it goes on forever! They cover so many topics, but both hosts do a great job of teaching the history and making it relatable/memorable.
Was raised a happy Episcopalian, but not a reformed Christian. Over a long slow process became a happy reformed Christian. But missed the blood and flesh of a church tradition. Word & Table helps me connect the two me’s. Thank you and God bless you.
As a presbyterian, I'm someone fuzzy on the organizational structure and theological underpinnings of the Anglican Church. I appreciate that this podcast is both informative and conservative.
