I absolutely love
this podcast. If you want to go down the rabbit hole with Silo, this one’s for you. When i was watching the latest episode last night I was thinking about how it would be covered here. So
that’s how much this podcast is starting to influence my relationship with this show.
In a world of AI generated summaries, listening to Elysia, Luke & Abi break down Silo feels so refreshing and good for the soul. Well-researched, thoughtful and deep critical analysis of not just the show but its themes and messages, and still time for some silly humour. Also an amazing Discord community and incredible Patreon bonuses, including a silo book club and seasonal deep dives of literature, history, film and TV. The usual excellent quality and lore-diving from the Lorehounds collective... more
Love this podcast and the Patreon is definitely worth it. Whether you are an only show or a book and show enthusiast, you’ll get so much out of the discussions.
They go on and on about how Silo connects to other shows. Elysia has an annoying habit of mentioning the character’s name while also including the actor’s name playing that character, which pulls me right out of the scene.
Great to listen to the opinions of another huge Silo fan just like us (only smarter and more dedicated).

This show delivers weekly coverage of a major sci‑fi series with a dual perspective: one host follows the book, the other watches the TV adaptation, offering spoiler-aware discussion that balances source material with on-screen developments. Episodes frequently explore memory manipulation, political power dynamics, and world-building, while also weaving in related sci‑fi literature like Dune for broader context. Noteworthy strengths include thoughtful, approachable analysis, a strong chemistry between hosts, and a clear stance against spoilers, making it a compelling listen for both longtime fans and newcomers. The format's blend of book-readers vs. show-only viewpoints, plus occasional cross‑overs into book clubs and other series, helps di... more
