I just listened to my first episode about the deaths of howler monkeys due to extreme heat. Great content which examines not just the science of the subject but includes discussion about the economic aspects and issues surrounding it. I loved the everything about the episode and I'll be back for more. I'm looking forward to the episodes about phage therapy for resistant bacterial infections, lab grown chicken for sale, research on saunas fighting depression and the episode about the role of volc... more
Please keep up the good work. Consistently interesting. Lately, though, the recording is much too faint to hear, with advertising at regular volume levels! Help -I can only listen in very quiet environment.

Short shows packed to the gills with facts and lucid explanations of things. I also still love the conversational shows from Wired, and sure hope they’re not going away forever, but these shorter more focused podcasts are an excellent addition. Now if only I still read print magazines, I’d actually subscribe. You know what, maybe I’ll do it anyway.
