I came over from the ‘Weenies podcast and Mikey V has delivered once again. If I could just recommend that maybe you guys go more in depth on each individual film of the double feature you talk about; like further discussing characters/specific things and themes that happen in the movie as opposed to just their general legacy and impact. Either way keep up the great work
This is a fun podcast that captures the cinephiles imagination of what was a classic time in cinema and Chicagoland. The research has been put in to not only represent the films discussed, but what the Windy City was like. From 70s porn wars to whatever Marty Scorsese was up to, you will hear about on this show.
My imdb watch list has grown by 100 movies since I started listening to this podcast! It’s a super fun podcast full of movie facts and movie history. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
Excellent relaxed conversation style. Can hear the enthusiasm for the subject matter coming through which is exactly what I’m looking for!
WINDY CITY became a must-listen, 5 Star show with episode 1! Being a big fan of co-host, Mike, from HALLOWEENIES, I was overjoyed to learn he was adding to his repertoire with WINDY CITY. He and Adam make an unbeatable team. It’s more than just another movie podcast, with a couple of well-knowledged Joes, it’s a mini-education on Chicago and time surround the flicks’ release... Give them a listen. It’s time well spent!
