Who knew you could meditate in an airport. Sounds like a good way relax in the eye of a storm. Breathe.
Happy 30th podcast. The Kelly gang is an artists description of a serendipitous journey from clients to friends to advocate. Great story and love the lapping wave sounds in the meditation.
Amanda offers such a fascinating look at not only her visual arts practice(s), but her “behind the scenes” inspirations for her work. I’m particularly enthralled with the very personal commentary and whimsical stories which she peppers throughout her podcast. A most enjoyable and informative 20 min. in my day.
These are a short 20 minutes of connection that begins with a creative story or reflection story and ends with a lovely mediation that makes up the second half. I am always inspired and refreshed by this pause in my day. Thank you
Amanda’s soothing voice is an invitation to slow down and reconnect to myself.. as I learn and reflect through her stories. Well done!
It made me think of my own childhood. Wait it was my own childhood. It sounds better in your voice than it does in my own head. My memories now have a new narrator and I love her and her voice. I look forward to podcast number two.
What a lovely invitation to connect to the joyful, innocent moments of our inner child we still carry on in us for life as adults. The crossroads of where this inner child meets the present day adult is where you took me today. At this intersection, much healing can be done, and I sat in awe of my young self’s ability to be so beautifully carefree when other moments required savage bravery. Gratitude for your guidance back to her feral, powerful self so vividly.
