Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Mothers and Amazons by Helen Diner discussed by Susan Hawthorne, 23 November 2025
Q: Did the Amazons have their own armies?
They were armies of women and they were women on horseback, part of a nomadic culture where they lived and fought on horses.
Mothers and Amazons by Helen Diner discussed by Susan Hawthorne, 23 November 2025
Q: What about that book and what about that angle?
Keeping the Amazon and Baki up on the Parthenon world for such a long time is a reminder to the men that the women will take over if you don't keep them in line.
Karla Mantilla, USA, The ways that the LGBT movement, by being overtly and covertly a gay male movement, set the stage for transgenderism.
Q: Are you saying that the gay men basically liked the setup, let's say, in the 1960s or something, they liked the way that patriarchy was running?
Yes, they wanted to be full members of the male sex class without any understanding or awareness that that class is created as part of a dominance against women.
Sam Brown Canada Combatting the Canadian Hate Act -
Q: Can people outside Canada help you defeat C9? What would you suggest?
Spreading the news as much as possible is crucial, as awareness and information can help people engage with the issue across borders.
Sam Brown Canada Combatting the Canadian Hate Act -
Q: Is there more public support for our side, or are people just sort of ignoring it?
In Canada, mainstream media heavily funded by the Liberal government don't share news not approved by the government, painting alternative outlets as extremists. While many Canadians are aware and pushing back, most are unaware of the bill's real implications, thinking it only addresses hate crimes like anti-Semitism and Islamophobia.
