I asked the Lord to heal the parts of me that were wounded and broken from my marriage and God led me to this podcast. A literal God-send. Nearly every word that came out of her mouth resonated deep within me. Suddenly I had words to what I was feeling. What I have been experiencing. Words spoken with such clarity and kindness without brushing over the harsh truth of the reality of abuse. I hope this review helps others find the same comfort and peace I’ve found by listening to episode after epi... more
You are living in your gift. Your podcast changed my life. You were born to counsel and help us find courage in God. I’ve been married for 22 chaotic, dysfunctional years. During a fast last month, God revealed to me that I need to take responsibility for my life. That resignation changed, and I became resolute that I must separate.... more
Thank you for sharing this wisdom. I need these episodes to help remind me not to back down and stay in abuse.
Thank you so much for bringing awareness to this not well known type of abusive. Sadly, the victim doesn’t even know. Speaking about myself. When I finally figured out what was happening in my marriage, I began to look and search for advice and information to learn about what I’m going through. Currently in the middle of a divorce. Praying for God’s help. My husband has denied it all. 😔
This is a wonderful podcast!! Very educational and eye opening whether you are a Christian or not. I found myself pausing to cry uncontrollably in some of the episodes which made me realize some of us don’t even know what abusive marriages look like. Thank you Ola Davis!! God bless you abundantly.
