    Pronunciation is abysmal. Is it really too much to ask that a First World Scholar, even an Anglophone one, can pronounce ‘Monsieur’, ‘Meuse’ and ‘Joffre’ for example (to name very few)? An absurdly jaundiced view of Anglo-Irish politics. So embarrassingly ahistorical as to be 5th Form. Presumably this is what is taught in average Dublin schools. The attention to detail is however admirable. Gratifyingly granular. The deepest of deep dives, which is excellent. I do wonder though whether the obses... more
