If you want to hear the perspective of the old banks on why new things will fail, this is the podcast for you. Ron knows his stuff but he’s overly critical of new concepts and has some gaps in knowledge. Stacy spends her time with banks stuck in the 1990s to upgrade them to 2005. When she talks about new fintechs it’s like listening to your grandma explain the internet. It has some value but be warned.
If there is a challenge in the banking marketplace, Ron will cover it in a way you can’t ignore. He has served this industry for decades and is willing to step on toes or hurt feelings to make an important point. The good news is that he does so in his snarky manner that makes change easier to achieve.
Don’t miss an episode … unless you are afraid to hear the truth and embrace change.
