Like your friendly local bartender or your tipsy uncle at a family gathering, Jake and Gareth are on the ca... more

I really want to like this show. Early episodes were sweet and earnest and totally bananas. Now, the hosts are meaner, they’re clearly doing stuff for “production” and have veered from therapy lite to shaming and bullying guests. It’s less fun.
I love love loveeeee this podcast so much, but the call with Casey Wilson about breast feeding rubbed me the wrong way. Women should be able to breastfeed their babies comfortably without being sexualized or demeaned. I understand that the person doing the breastfeeding in this scenario is a bit “extreme” for some, but if YOU are uncomfortable or feeling some type of way sexually, that is 100% your issue. Let women breastfeed in peace, damn. Ok, off my soapbox now, love this podcast so much.
I love this pod and these guys. So funny, wholesome, just a great thing to listen to
Lord I like this podcast too much but they spend way too much time talking before starting the actual show. It’s boring.
I listened to all the episodes in about 3 months. I LOVE this show!! I’m bummed that I’m caught up DANG IT. This show has brought me so much daily joy. Thank you, Jake and Gareth! I’m looking forward to the next episode.

The show blends casual, off-the-cuff problem solving with improv-driven pitches. Two longtime friends take caller questions from trivial to serious and brainstorm humorous, practical strategies while inviting guests—friends, peers, or experts—to weigh in. The tone stays light and entertaining, but the hosts frequently land on concrete ideas, boundaries, and actionable takeaways, often threaded through with promos and sponsor reads. A recurring strength is the energetic banter, space for celebrity guests and pros to share perspectives, and a willingness to pivot between entertainment and real-world usefulness for listeners seeking advice or a creative pitch for a situation.
