I love the weird and awesome tech and I like how the episodes are short so I can listen to a few from Jack in aus 🐨🦘🇦🇺🇦🇺
I found the constant giggling and laughter took away from the subject matter which is quite good.
The other podcast I listen to will announce when they going to ads.
Not this one, just straight into advertisements with no pause or warning.
full disclosure i haven’t actually listened to this yet i only just discovered it on Threads, but i loved Queens of the Drone Age so much that this is an instant follow. Rae Johnston and Tegan Jones are fricken rad. not *that* Rad, she’s not on this show i don’t think. it’s short for radical god i’m so old lol. bless 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Two tech journalists chase the odd, the playful, and the practical in short, story-driven tech chats. Episodes center on quirky devices, unusual applications of AI, and near-future gadgets, all delivered with brisk pacing and witty banter. The mix tends toward accessible explainers, curiosity-driven explorations, and a light, irreverent tone that makes complex tech feel approachable. A standout is how the hosts blend humor with credible context, keeping coverage fresh without sacrificing substance. This show is likely to appeal to listeners who want tech news and trends with a curiosity-driven, human angle and a preference for shorter, easily digestible episodes.
