  • Not worth your time

Gun part is great. Sadly the rest is a lot of dick jokes, maga pablum, and dead air. They should stick to talking about shooting.

  • Facting Factually

It’s strange that the lack of pedantic contrarian contributions have heightened my enjoyment.

I’m talking about Aaron not being there.

    Keep it up.

  • Too little shooting

I gave it two stars because at least they did eventually get around to shooting, but like most hobby podcasts it’s mostly a bunch of friends talking trash about each other and rambling on about stuff that has nothing to do with their topic. I’ve listened to several episodes and it’s not uncommon for them to ramble on for 15 minutes before they even begin to talk about shooting.

Too little content, too much β€œbro time.”

Double Tap 470 – Dude Soup
Q: What is the best non-AR, 5.56 semi-auto rifle choice?
Consensus leans toward non-AR options like the Mini-14 or Henry AR-7 style, but acknowledges subjectivity and that AR platforms are often preferred for reliability and parts availability.
Double Tap 470 – Dude Soup

Double Tap 468 – Maxipad
Q: Question from Bama Chris from AL. Upon my untimely death, when I am merked by an uptown gentleman with a high point, what will my wife need to notify the ATF for the full trust that she is currently on, that she will now be the primary trustee?
The hosts discuss that the NFA trust is structured with a primary trustee and successors, and suggest getting professional legal advice (and Rimfire Radio's guidance) to ensure the formality and witnessing requirements are met; they also mention having a will and proper documentation to ease transfer and management of firearms.
Double Tap 466 – Secret Admirer
Q: If budget was no option, what would your full loadout kit look like?
Sean and Jeremy describe a complete setup including plate carriers, chest rigs, slings, belts, holsters, and a variety of uppers and calibers, emphasizing personal preference and practical needs over brand names.
Double Tap 467 – Jer-Stache

The consensus leaned toward larger calibers than 223 for performance, with 6.5 Grendel, 6mm ARC, and similar being favored; ultimately, people emphasized using the right ammo and twist to match the gun, while considering local laws and practicalities.
