  • First ep review: a promising start!

    the premise of this is really cool, very very vaguely reminds me of kfam (a Better kfam, that is). gwen's va does such a good job with the feeling in her voice! i think i need to listen to one more episode to decide whether i'll continue listening to this one or not, simply bc i have a lot to listen to right now, but i'm leaning towards yes at the moment. it's hard to tell the dynamic between the two women since they don't directly interact, but you can tell from the get-go that gwen is down bad... more

    I found it dull. It’s groaningly slow, soapy, and I found the characters shallow. There are no glaring flaws with it, but in the 4 episodes I listened to, nothing really happened.

  • I binged We Know None in an afternoon after seeing them perform it live at the London Podcast Festival and being blown away by the chemistry between the two leads. The full series doesn't disappoint. Although Gwen and Frankie share very little time actually together in the same place across the whole series, the relationship is so well developed - which is incredibly hard to do and make it feel real.
