A combination of hitting rock bottom, multiple rehab attempts, the life-changing Celebrate Recovery program, and a pivotal hike on the Pacific Crest Trail gradually shifted my perspective. The realization that I could help others and the support of faith, community, and a service dog ultimately anchored my sobriety and redirected my life toward serving fellow veterans.
