These guys are hilarious! They seem to stay pretty well informed about a variety of things, and I love it when they bring smart guests on as well. That being said, I do tend to side with those who try to bring Cardon’s combativeness level down a bit, sometimes he and Jonah Barnes can go a little too far in making fun of people. All these guys are one uppers they think they know enough about everything to talk about it, but not open minded enough to learn anything or except anybody else’s opinion they live in a black and white echo chamber that will never produce any real growth or maturity
My title is sort of a pun. The show is truly entertaining and it also teaches truth. I love the variety and humor to go with clarity about our faith.
I spotted some “hater” reviews here and I’m thinking, were we really listening to the same show. Not everyone is a Latter-day Saint, of course, but if you love our faith, you’ll do well with Ward Radio.
I have never listened to this show before or any of Dr Whites shows before but I was curious so I wrote down the main points from an episode talking about Dr. James White. My summary notes are as follows. The LDS church is true because they do a bunch of philanthropy. Good works can’t come from something untrue. (I would disagree with that).
