I have been listening to Meds and Kels for a long time. They cover everything! I love the banter and waffle! Found them through Treks in SciFi and 4077th M*A*S*H podcasts. WaffleOn!
Love listening to these two guys, look forward to this podcast every month, very British sensibilities (in a great way), talking about your favourite films and tv shows, long may you waffle on.
I have been listening to this awesome podcast for just over a year and I love it!Meds and Kell are so enthusiastic that it’s encouraged me to rewatch old favourites, watch some programmes that I somehow missed when they were first released and even try out some stuff that I’d never even heard of. They always include some interesting facts but the thing I love the best is the waffling. The conversation always feels really natural and the banter is brilliant. This is a lot of fun - just started following, very entertaining, and some great fun facts emerge from the discussion of these gems, a lot of which are my ‘comfort’ views. Working backwards through them and can’t wait for the carry-ons episode. Another great thing is that this is broadcast from the ‘holy city’ as well. Keep up the ace work!
Started listening way before Lockdown. This is just such a great show. Started listening to this to reminisce and have not stopped smiling since. What makes it better is how much they are clearly loving it and enjoying themselves. There is clearly so much fun going on it like listening to friends chatting over a drink and inviting you to join them. Not looking forward to when I Have caught up totally and will have to wait a month between episodes. Love it. Mark

A nostalgic, conversational deep-dive into classic film and television, with two long-time UK hosts sharing affection for era-defining shows and movies. The discussions blend personal memories, trivia, and thoughtful critique, often looping in production trivia, cultural context, and fan-favorites from the 70s through the 90s. The format leans into banter and camaraderie, making it feel like a chat among friends while still delivering insightful takes, guest anecdotes, and recommendations for revisiting beloved titles. A standout edge is the hosts' strong, recognizable regional voice and their ability to weave personal nostalgia with broader pop culture history, appealing to listeners who enjoy both casual banter and well-researched retrosp... more
