  • Be warned

Almost all of their share picks end up tanking. I wouldn’t listen to a word they say.

  • Bias

Vox markets podcasts are a great way for private investors to hear more from the companies they’re invested in. My main frustrations come from the clear bias given to companies that Justin is invested in personally, and pushes on his sharespickers club & subsequently vox markets listeners.

  • Great fun

I enjoy Justin’s passion, and knowledge, and picks. Insightful guests. Four rather than five stars because Justin interrupts his guests too often, especially when they disagree. The most helpful thing for an investor is to hear both sides of a story, but Justin makes this near impossible by shouting down his guests, ‘CAN I JUST SAY ONE THING…’, after having already spoken over his guest several times. Insufferable frankly, please do work on that, Justin.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

2342: Pinnacle Discovers Silver, Lead and Zinc at El Potrer
Q: What does this discovery mean for the El Potrero project going forward?
It broadens the scope from a silver-gold focus to include a potential silver-lead-zinc vein system, guiding future drilling, processing decisions (potentially a flotation circuit), and longer-term feasibility studies.
2339: The Exchange with Stuart Widdowson of Odyssean Capital
Q: What has driven the Odyssean portfolio's performance over the past year?
The manager explains that the portfolio benefited from a long-term, value-driven approach that avoided overvalued software plays, focused on industrials with international exposure, and benefited from companies showing improving earnings quality and defensive growth traits, which together supported a material rebound in share prices.
2338: Harena moves to acquire US rare earths assets
Q: Tell us about this idea that you've got the plan to potentially acquire some assets in the US. What's the status of the deal and where's it going to go?
We are moving through an exclusivity period to conduct due diligence, plan site visits with our technical and geological teams, and then decide on next steps. The aim is to advance a strategic fit that aligns with our US-focused strategy and government relationships, with updates to the market as we progress.
2344: Richmond Hill gets set to drill
Q: What is Martello Gold and what is its potential?
Martello Gold is a high-grade, shear-hosted gold system in Ontario with historic high-grade intersections. The plan is to drill about 1,100 meters across ~10 holes to validate and expand the known veins, re-reference the orientation with oriented core, and then advance toward a mineral resource estimate through further drilling and met work.
2340: Shearwater delivers 37% Revenue Growth
Q: And then moving on to software revenue, that fell 12% year on year. How strategic is the software division today, and should investors expect it to become a bigger contributor again?
The guests explain a market shift toward on-premise authentication and cloud-agnostic capabilities, noting diversification within the software division, a new sales director, a GeoLang restructuring, and ongoing efforts to grow sales and marketing to regain momentum and grow the software contribution in the longer term.
