  • Love this show.

I’ve been listening to Scott Voorhees since the beginning. I’m not even from Omaha! I live in New Hampshire. My wife is from Omaha and we are Scott’s age, she relates to the local stories and I am a sarcastic guy that loves current events (and UHF quotes). Lucy Chapman has some of the funniest comments I’ve ever heard. Miss Randy though. Eat some pancakes and some endangered owl burgers on a petty complaint Thursday while listening to insightful commentary from Steve Apple!

Q: Do you have any idea whether most of the fighting in the Old Market was adult bar crowd or teenagers leaving the bars?
The chief indicated that it was primarily adult bar crowds after closing, with some underage individuals mixed in, and emphasized the need to disperse crowds and make arrests when necessary.
Auburn / Booing AI / Clint Black
Q: Tell me about why you decided to write a book rather than release an album that kind of is an autobiographical tale.
He explains that his wife Lisa had urged him to share stories, a literary management group helped shape the project, and he ultimately committed to writing a memoir to entertain and offer a curated personal narrative.
Scott Petersen Argues Case for "State" Race
Q: What evidence do you have that there has been any funny business with vote counting in Nebraska?
He contends there isn't direct evidence of voter fraud, but emphasizes concerns about transparency, the accessibility of audit logs, and public confidence. He advocates for measures like making cast vote records available and performing a backup hand count to validate the system.
Scott Petersen Argues Case for "State" Race
Q: You've been a major player behind the scenes in the Republican Party. Why did you decide to run for office anyway?
The guest explains a perceived need to restore confidence in election processes, to move Nebraska toward a one-day election with true absentee voting, and to reduce the influence of a prolonged 35-day window that invites outside money into races, arguing these changes would better serve rural Nebraska and align with core Republican priorities.
