I absolutely love this podcast. As someone who loves sports and has been so excited about Bay FC, I was thrilled that the Bay Area was adding a WNBA team. Listening to the ladies on Valkyries Sayless has really given me an appreciation for the players’ backgrounds, as well as the game of basketball in general. I love their enthusiasm and the relaxed way they talk about the game. Their excitement is infectious and I can’t wait to keep l... more
This GSV fan cannot get enough Valkyries content. I love Jennifer and Raina’s deeper dives into each player, unique style, and bringing their experiences of the games, merchandise, travel to/from games, and game content. Bonus that they are SFUSD teachers!! Go, Valks!! 💜🏀🖤
I’ve been hassling the radio station that is supposed to be covering Valkyries to actually cover them. Since they refuse, I’m so glad these two fantastic fans are stepping into the void, seizing the moment, and creating the content this community (and future community members) need and deserve. You guys rock!
