I listened to a random episode - and Eleanor had blanked on the word for sommelier and first said oncology and then she quickly said no no, you know, wine expert. Her wit and accent are incredible, I was hooked. She is the perfect blend of true crime, victim advocate, and dark humour. Love!

When listening to Canadian cases, noticed a lack of understanding of the Canadian criminal just system. For example, people are always given credit towards their sentence when they spend time in custody before sentenced and it is always weighted at x1.5. So if you spend 2 days in custody pre sentencing then you would get 3 days of credit to put towards your sentence. Instead of absolving herself with a scripted statement about not forgetting the victims, she puts thought into how these crimes impacted people and how the reporting on these crimes can have wider implications.
