    I was enlightened, gratefully, by the deeply personal connection that Nick made as a Native American, Cherokee, to the refugee crisis of Ukrainian families, and how US and Canadian tribes, though not wealthy, are opening their homes and arms to these refugees, because they understand Imperialism in a way few of us can—in our DNA.
