This is a gem of a podcast in that it blends the plight of parents who desperately want to improve their child’s quality of life with cutting edge science that will benefit so many people, now and in the future. BUT the last episode, An Update, has the wrong audio file attached and is a repeat of the previous episode. C’mon CBC please fix this so we can be updated!!!
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this is a quality podcast. Informative, poignant, and thoughtful. more
I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to this podcast. I really appreciate Bryson’s father sharing his and his family’s complex medical journey. I especially liked the episode that talks about the complicated ethics around seeking a “cure”. Thank you for this very thought-provoking and interesting podcast.
I listened to this on the radio over the summer broadcasting break and was absolutely riveted. Docked a star because, unfortunately, this is a real story and there is no real conclusion or satisfactory denouement.
