  • Esther and spay/neuter

I became friends with Esther Mechler in the 1970s when we both became dedicated to activism for our animal cousins. She has remained relentlessly dedicated ever since. For years now, she has focused on spay neuter programs because they are the most effective way to reduce and eliminate animal suffering and abuse.
