Flags have evolved a lot through history. Their use has changed slightly and continues to change little by little even today. But where will flags go in the future? That's the question I ask and discuss; but, the answer can be elusive.
Flags are not used in today's world the same way they were used in centuries past. Today I explore the interesting ways we use our flags, and some of the laws that govern how some flags are meant to be used.
Flags typically represent countries and states. But others represent different organizations such as sports teams and businesses. Today, I dive into the realm of political flags and the way they affect society.
Most national flags are well designed. Most state flags in the U.S. are not. This week I am joined by a guest who will help me explain just why that is, as well as to name a few exceptional flags that stick out.
Some flags have lasted hundreds of years unchanged, and some flags are meant to grow with the country they represent. Today I dive into the history of two of the most well known flags: The Union Jack, and the Stars and Stripes.
