Really appreciate what you’re doing, Lee. Thank you, my friend.
I’ve been looking something like this for a long time. I love the entire premise of just being a fly on the wall while you’re talking through your thought process while mixing. Explaining your default moves, hearing your adjustments, even hearing you change your mind.
More, please!
With so many podcasts talking about mixing, finally we have one that is actually doing in real time what everyone else is talking about. I really appreciate Lee’s step by step process, allowing listeners to hear sources pre/post processing, hearing the difference in real time as he makes adjustments back and forth. Will be recommending this to everyone.
This is truly what more people need to do. Thank you Lee Fields for going out of your way and giving us this. This is true ear candy! Cant wait for more episodes.

Unfiltered showcases elite live-audio practice and practical, hands-on mixing strategies for high-stakes shows, with a focus on worship environments, large venues, and real-world problem solving. Episodes emphasize step-by-step signal flow, substrate of gear and plugins, room and PA interactions, and a bias toward useful, “no gatekeeping” instruction. Noteworthy traits include long-form, transparent decision-making, host-led demonstrations, and an integrated consultancy angle that surfaces in many episodes. For prospective listeners, it's a deep-dish resource for engineers and production leaders aiming to elevate live sound quality, tone shaping, and workflow discipline in complex environments.
