I’ve followed Cammie since like 2014, I’m now 21 and married (wife is also 21) and we don’t have any married or gay friends so listening to this podcast is like having little girlie chats with another gay married couple it’s great!

  • came back to say this:)

hey guys, i heard your response on the podcast and it was honestly so kind and exactly how i was hoping my message would be received

i really appreciated how open you were and how you guys really heard me out, that meant a lot. i hope what i said doesn’t make you feel like you have to filter yourself. that’s not my intention at all. i love your banter and personalities, it was more just about balance and i think you understood that and handled it really well

  • Lovely ladies

Came here on the heels of listening to another’s negative review to offset their input. The irony of a happy hippy going out of their way to share their own personal experience in a way that reflects on the show.. wow. Anyways, everyone has the choice to listen or not, if you’re leaving why say anything. I listen because these two are truly fun and smart young women, I love learning from these two. I always find myself smiling and laughing along.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

140: parenting advice, phone time, and disliking a friends partner
Q: How should I approach a friend who's dating a political opponent—do I try to understand the partner first or steer away to protect the friendship?
The hosts advise starting with an open, low-pressure hang to get to know the partner as a person, not as a political label. They suggest avoiding labels like right-winged, exploring shared interests, and gradually addressing difficult topics if/when needed. The aim is to keep the friendship intact while giving both people a fair chance to prove themselves, and to manage expectations so it doesn't become a constant source of conflict.
132: tiktok lesbians, hidden albums, and the itch to move
Q: What do you think, Ava?
A discussion about the 20-something dating/moving crossroads, emphasizing that San Diego is a strong option but considering long-term compromise and whether to move with or without a partner; practical steps include having serious conversations, considering trial periods, and weighing personal itch against relationship stability.
130: date night rules, breakup season, and cosmetic surgery
Q: What should someone in a breakup do to maintain their own well-being while giving space?
Start with small, doable boundaries and focus on self-care activities; avoid over-committing to emotional outreach and instead test boundaries hour by hour to see what feels right.

Q: What advice do you have for someone questioning their sexuality and feeling stuck in a marriage?
Communicate openly with your spouse about your feelings and seek couples therapy for guidance.
