デザイン事務所UMIHICO福井県の港町・小浜に拠点を置く、画家ほりこしみきとフォトグラファー堀越一孝のデザインユニット「UMIHICO」 この番組は、その二人が仕事の合間に思考と日常について語る記録です。 UMIHICOが今向き合っているデザインやプロジェクトのこと。なぜそのデザインにしたのか、どんな気持ちや願いを抱いてプロジェクトを動かしているのか。背景にある、なかなか誰かに伝えることもない思いや感情。 創作の話から、仕事とは関係のない日常の話まで、飾らずに、淡々と。 ただ、デザインの現場で考えていること、小浜で暮らす中で感じている「今」を、声として残していこうと思います。UMIHICOのそんな時間に、そっと耳を傾けてもらえたら嬉しいです。

2026年は小浜で個展は開催しない、と話していた画家のほりこしみき
なのに、急遽開催することになった『A wish for the Moon』。
なぜこのタイミングで個展を開くことにしたのか、
開催を決めた理由や、作品に込める思いについて、話を聞きました。
