  • Programming takes a dive

Please bring back In The Box from 10am-2pm. It was such great radio, especially on Sens game days at practice! Mornings can’t get into gameday coverage the same way In The Box could. You’re the Senators radio network. Get back to operating like it, please.

  • Stop firing anchors

Bell media you’re a joke of an organization for sacking a lot of beloved talent from tsn1200 over the years. You should all be ashamed at being so greedy.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

TSN Mornings: TSN soccer analyst Clare Rustad says it will depend on the game if Alphonso Davies plays
Q: What are your thoughts on Jesse Marsh as a coach and his approach with Canada?
Clare praises Marsh for building a strong player pool, implementing a high-press system, and continuing to develop the program in a cohesive way that suits the players he has, while keeping intensity and structure high.
TSN Mornings: TSN soccer analyst Clare Rustad says it will depend on the game if Alphonso Davies plays
Q: How much pre-scouting do you do on referees for match-day tendencies and card tendencies?
Clare says she personally never pre-scouted referees in her playing days, and emphasizes focusing on on-field play and collective team preparation rather than refereeing tendencies.
TSN Mornings: TSN soccer analyst Clare Rustad says it will depend on the game if Alphonso Davies plays
Q: Are we over-hyping it? Is this, in terms of the men's program, the biggest game in history?
Clare suggests that while every important match has its own significance, context matters and the game is framed as a pivotal moment for Canada, with the pressure of advancing and the need to manage a tough Swiss side; the discussion centers on expectations, not certainty.
TSN Mornings June 23, 2026 Hour 2: William Eklund isn’t the final piece to the Sens puzzle
Q: What was the strategic rationale behind trading the ninth pick for William Eklund?
The hosts explain that the move was made to secure an immediate top-six winger who can contribute right away, while also preserving future assets and flexibility for further moves if needed.
TSN Mornings: Redblacks analyst Duke Ellingson says Dru Brown didn’t play the style of QB that works with Dinwiddie
Q: How does the quarterback room look now, and is the system being adjusted for Mayer and the new addition?
Duke notes the room is emotionally healthier but on-field improvement is still needed; Dinwiddie may be trimming the playbook to let players play faster and with less thinking.
