  • Perfect for a Sens Fan!!!

I found the show a couple years ago and I’ve turned about 10 of my friends onto it. I’m a diehard Sens fan with season tickets since day one so this show is perfect for me. I love the quality of the guests and the amount of preparation that Wally puts in to make sure that the show is informative, funny and thoroughly enjoyable. Keep up the good work. One request. Could you try to balance audio volume between Jason, Wally, etc. many times one is too loud and. The other too quiet.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

TKACHUK TRADED
Q: Brady had a full no-move clause, so what limited Ottawa from getting more immediate impact back?
Ottawa leveraged the full no-move clause, cap space, and multiple first-round picks to maximize long-term upside, prioritizing draft capital and future assets over immediate NHL-ready talent.
Doug MacLean on the NHL Draft, Trades & Free Agency
Q: How has the role of a general manager evolved since your early days in hockey?
MacLean explains that the GM role has become more complex due to longer-term contracts, more pronounced player influence, and increased media scrutiny, requiring a balance of scouting, psychology, and strategic patience.
Guest Calvin de Haan
Q: You've played for several organizations. What separates a well-run team from a poorly run one?
Ownership and how resources are allocated matter a lot; good locker room culture and strong leadership drive consistency, while mismanagement or inconsistent support can derail teams.
Standing in the Hall of Fame
Q: And I got one question for Yorkie and Graeme. What vehicle do you think Sean Donovan, that Sean drives?
Dono drives a Tesla, as discussed in a back-and-forth moment about his car, contrasting with others and adding to the lighthearted tone of the segment.
Guest Ron Tugnutt
Q: What was going through your mind during the Ottawa-to-Pittsburgh trade and the playoff run that followed?
Tugger described how the trade was tough emotionally but ultimately fuelled him to prove his value, using the move as motivation to elevate his playoff performance and help Pittsburgh reach the postseason.
