  • The best of a bad genre

A podcast notable for what it doesn’t have: robotic narration of old stories, ‘hang’em high’ attitude, that cloying, simpering description of “light up a room” people who spent their whole lives taking in strays, which so many TC pods seem to think gives them a licence to exploit their suffering in graphic detail. Whitney and Katie are hilarious, yet knowledgeable and give you other perspectives. I’m enamored by Katie’s “sugar free” irreverence. Wh... more
