  • Interesting and informative

I am not an elite athlete but I find the topics covered here informative and motivating. Calculating carb loading pre workouts is wasted on me but understand more about the link between diet and mental health and athletic goals/results is super interesting. Good job!

Fuelling Extreme Endurance Athletes
Q: What is the optimal fueling plan for a recreational runner completing their first marathon aiming for a sub-four-hour time?
Encourage a carbohydrate load, maintain hydration based on their sweat rate, and aim for 30 to 45 grams of carb per hour during the marathon.
Fuelling Extreme Endurance Athletes
Q: Should athletes use continuous glucose monitoring?
At this point, I would say no due to lack of standardization in how to use the data effectively.
Fuelling Extreme Endurance Athletes
Q: Is caffeine causing dehydration, true or false?
Studies have shown that caffeine isn't as dehydrating as previously thought, unless you consume 500 milligrams or more.
Fuelling Extreme Endurance Athletes
Q: Is protein straight after a workout necessary?
I would argue it's not necessary because total daily protein is the number one important thing.
Episode 106: Health & Fitness For High Level CEO's - Lachlan Rowston
Q: Is the goal to move clients to that top 10% level?
Yes, the idea is to create a program where clients at various fitness levels can progress toward higher achievements and maintain their commitment to health.
