This is exactly what I’ve been looking for—deep dives with some of the best producers in techno who reveal their stories and the stories that shape the tracks that have defined the genre. Glad I found this, looking forward to listening to the archives and episodes to come. Thanks for putting this out!
This podcast is so insightfull and has really helped me stay inspired both in DJing and Production, for those of us who are just fans or wannabies this is absolute gold! A great insight into the Techno/Djing world, I've been needing to hear this kind of discussion for years! more
Love getting an inside view of the techno world - what it means to be a label owner and producer, as well as a successful DJ on the European circuit, and I love to just hear what's going on with some of the heads in techno. Epidodes with I/Y and Matrixxman have been my favorite. Keep it coming!
Every episode has me looking forward to the next. Nice work DZ and fam!
I am clearly late to the party here - just got into Train Wrecks this week and I think my dog has lost 5 lbs from the amount of walking we are doing so I can go through the back catalogue. Zahn is candid and insightful, while doing the unthinkable in music journalism, and not being a dick. Although his forays into the political can border on the dodgy, his sincerity and genuine curiosity offsets any real offense. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended.
