I wish this series would go on forever ♥️
I can’t praise this highly enough. I was a Sailor, and Mr. Lowell’s description of life aboard ship (albeit in a different medium) is a perfect reflection of the triumphs, tragedies, and humor of those days. The story, setting, and characters could stand up to the Hornblower series easily, and might even earn a place beside Patrick O’Brien. Narration and music are excellent, too.
This is a great book series. Enjoyed every episode. Love the story and how it is told. Also the jig music after the show. Sure wish there was more! I look forward to this series each week!
What a fantastic I’d story. I can’t articulate how much I enjoy d this story, nor how gutted I am to have finished it. Well read, well written, I absolutely loved it
I listen to these at night; a simple flowing story (so far), well read and unpredictable. The characters grow on you as they unfold. I look forward to working through the series. Good job
