I think Gunther was the perfect opponent for Goldberg. Gunther had stated in the past that Goldberg was his favorite wrestler growing up. So it made sense to pair the two. Gunther is more of a brutal technical wrestler so since Goldberg can’t move like he used to, I felt that this is what he needed to have a 15-20 minute match.
