Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 169 with Arsalan Khalid: how cricket became a safe haven and social hub for Arsalan in Ireland having moved there from Pakistan aged 19
Q: How did your coaching career develop alongside your personal and family commitments?
I shifted from working in a call center to studying sports coaching full-time, eventually securing roles with Munster Cricket and Lancashire Cricket Foundation; balancing family needs, especially for my daughter, led me to prioritise coaching as a long-term, fulfilling vocation that aligns with my passion for the game.
Episode 169 with Arsalan Khalid: how cricket became a safe haven and social hub for Arsalan in Ireland having moved there from Pakistan aged 19
Q: What was your first experience playing cricket in Ireland and how did that lead to coaching opportunities?
Moving to Ireland at 19, I found there was little cricket; joining Carlo Cricket Club and helping to start hardball cricket with Cricket Ireland funding showed me the impact coaching can have, eventually guiding me toward formal ECB coaching qualifications and a career with Lancashire Cricket Foundation.
Episode 169 with Arsalan Khalid: how cricket became a safe haven and social hub for Arsalan in Ireland having moved there from Pakistan aged 19
Q: Where did you first get involved in the game of cricket and why is it still part of your life today?
I grew up in Lahore, Pakistan, where cricket was everywhere in the family and streets; it was a natural pull from childhood memories, and even after moving abroad, the sport provided continuity, happiness, and a way to socialise and stay focused on studies.
Episode 168 with Min Patel; how prioritising fielding with young players is a priority at Kent Cricket
Q: How did Min transition from playing professionally to coaching and shaping Kent's talent pathway?
He moved into coaching after retiring, began with camps and clubs, then took on roles at Kent, progressing through the academy and regional program leadership to become head of pathway, focusing on structure, coaching quality and broad player development.
Episode 162 with Hugh Fort how the uniqueness, the nuances and inclusiveness of cricket have made Hugh a lifelong lover of the game of cricket
Q: What keeps you coming back season after season?
The blend of technical challenge, personal rivalries, and the social aspects—the tea, the chat, and the shared sense of belonging—make cricket more engaging than other sports, according to Hugh.
