"I'll never lose that hope. It could be five years from today. The door is always open at our office for anything that will bring resolution to this case."
There have finally been a couple of developments in the case. But will they lead to the truth about what happened to Tom?
"I'm definitely more paranoid wherever I go. I definitely watch my back more and pay attention to what's going on around me."
"The people of the town are calling us and saying, 'Do we have a monster that lives in our community?' I wish I could give them Solace."

I’m surprised this podcast has such a high rating. I listened bc it was recommended as one of the best pod’s someone had listened to this year and I really wonder what they were listening to cause this podcast is staggeringly mid. It’s fine I guess. It’s slow and doesn’t really have anything special. The host promises at the outset to find something new about the case and spoiler he doesn’t. It’s also wild how much air time he gave the obviously scamming crackpot PI
This podcast had me on the edge of my seat from the first episode to the most recent one, the ninth. The story has so many surprises and plot twists that it’s hard to believe it’s nonfiction, but it is. Here’s hoping the mystery gets solved eventually, and that another episode or two can be produced that reveal the truth of what happened to Tom and why.
This podcast kept me intrigued the entire time. The part about Tom’s sexuality was a bit much for this, though. It was more of an unsubstantiated rumor. The dead can’t speak for themselves.
The mystery endures - that’s what I love about this one. Come be an armchair detective. Nothing I would change about it…I was hooked the whole time!!!
This sad story has so many twists and turns. It’s like a “who done it”?! So many suspects and yet nobody has been held responsible for Tom’s death. Such a tragedy for everyone involved. I’m not done listening to every episode yet; I hope there’s some resolution found for this family and town.
