The trust and respect that Craig and Shekhar have for the work and the audience resulted in a show that was thought provoking, visually beautiful and gripping. They do not dumb it down which makes it work so well and stand out among so many choices for entertainment. Michael as host pulls out the intellectual and historical side of the show with equal passion as he does its humanity and emotional content. TNT please be sure to bring back this great show and podcast. Thank you and well do... more
Im so sad that the season is ending soon because I love the show and the podcast. It's not only entertaining but informative, and I love every second!!!
Just listened to episode 9 of this podcast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Will listen to the other 8 and look forward to next weeks as well. Love the show!
I really enjoy this take on Shakespeare. I was a high school teacher for many years and am now an actor who regularly performs some of the bard's work. I'm sure this show is riddled with inaccuracies that the scholars will hate, but it has enough realism (as the podcast brings to light) to make it entertaining and enlightening. Keep up the good work, and I hope to see more seasons in the future.
Excellent commentary by the show's creator that enhances the enjoyment of the tv series. A must listen to podcast series.
